  • Load Flow / Power Factor Correction

Reduce your electric bill by determining the location and size of power factor correction capacitors

Aid in future planning and present day operation by demonstrating how the electrical system will perform during normal and emergency operating conditions

Determine the proper transformer tap settings so that the correct voltage will be present at motors and other loads during full load and no load conditions

Identify under-utilized equipment to which will allow for future load growth

    Identify overloaded equipment

Increase the distribution system operating efficiency and determine the most optimum operating configuration

  • Harmonic / IEEE-519 Evaluation

Identify the source of harmonics (internal or external to your facility)

Evaluate the impact of non-linear loads (harmonic sources) on facility distribution systems

    Evaluate compliance with IEEE 519

Verify proper size and placement of capacitors when harmonic sources are present

Verify proper size, configuration and placement of filters, if necessary

  • Transient Motor Starting

Reduce voltage flicker or voltage drop problems in the facility

    Increase facility reliability

  • Duct Bank Ampacity

    Design time savings

Material cost savings by determining the minimum size of conductors to support the anticipated loads.

  • Generator Sizing and Motor Starting

Determine the minimum generator size needed to support the facility loads and start the larger motors.

The order and delay time when starting larger motors.

This study will prevent oversizing the generator and save you money and time.

    It will Increase facility reliability

  • Ground Grid / Mat Study

    Design time savings

Material cost savings by determining the minimum size of conductors and number of ground rods to keep the potentcial values below the IEEE limits.

  • Transient Switching (Snubber) and Stability

Determine the size of the snubber filter capacitors and resistors to reduce the transient levels

Increase equipment protection by eliminating, reducing, or controlling the transients to a safe level

    Increase facility reliability

Minimize misoperation of protective devices and switching equipment

Safety Training

  • Affected Persons (Non-Qualified) Safety Training

The Affected Persons (Non-Qualified) Training Arc Flash and Electrical Safety Training is developed by e-Hazard and presented by our licensed instructors.

This two hour training seminar will provide the attendees with the mandatory level of classroom training needed to satisfy governmental regulations for shock and arc flash safety. e-Hazard’s Operators Training covers safe work practices, electrical hazards, PPE requirements, and much, much more.

The program is full of informative and stunning arc flash videos of garment testing and actual arc flash accidents.

  • Canadian Low Voltage (CSA Z462) Electrical Safety in the Workplace Training Course

Comprehensive and fulfills the training requirements for CSA Z462-15 for low voltage qualified persons.

Oriented toward persons performing work near or operating electrical equipment which will increase facility safety. Fast paced and engaging so that the attendees remember what has been presented. Video of arc flash accidents and PPE testing that give the attendees a sense of the hazards in the electrical world.

Taught by knowledgeable instructors with field experience and knowledge so that the students can ask questions and get immediate answers.

  • Electrical Safety Low Voltage Qualified Refresher Course

According to NFPA 70E 2015, workers must attend an electrical safety course every three years, in order to stay current on 70E updates. Refresher training is also required whenever a facility has experienced a change in equipment, procedures, or technology that would require different safety practices than what was used before, or when an individual employee must use “abnormal” safety practices that he would not typically use on a regular basis.

Designed for anyone who has completed a previous qualified electrical safety class, the 4-hour Low Voltage Qualified Refresher Course is exactly that: a “refresher” of skills presented at the 8-hour NFPA 70E Low Voltage Qualified Training Course.

  • High Voltage OSHA 1910.269 Qualified Training Course

The High Voltage OSHA 1910.269 8 Hour Qualified Training Course is developed by e-Hazard and presented by Robert E. Fuhr, P.E. In one day of training, high voltage qualified persons receive the mandatory level of classroom training needed on the primary governmental regulations for shock and arc flash safety. e-Hazard’s High Voltage OSHA 1910.269 Training Course covers safe work practices, how to protect against shock and arc flash, PPE requirements, permits, creating an electrically safe work condition, and much, much more.

The program is full of informative and stunning arc flash videos of garment testing and actual arc flash accidents. Following is just an example of what is covered in this acclaimed program.
