PowerStudies Staff

Ann Holliday

Ann is the President and co-owner of PowerStudies. With over 29 years of experience with the company, she is responsible for departmental management and daily operations, as well as overseeing the PowerStudies staff, as a whole. She has a wide range of experience with different power system distribution designs that makes her instrumental in training new engineers and technicians in performing power system studies. She also performs and reviews arc flash, short circuit and protective device coordination studies. She is also a board member, (and currently the president), for the Electric League of the Pacific Northwest.

Robert (Bob) E. Fuhr, P.E., P.Eng.

As a Senior Electrical Engineer of PowerStudies, Inc., Bob brings over 30 years of extensive, varied experience in the power distribution area to the company he founded in 1986. With a strong, proven track record among a diverse clientele, he is experienced in all areas of power systems, harmonics, short circuit, load flow, protective device coordination, arc flash, power quality, and power factor correction. He is also an active member of the IEEE 1584 Working Group.

Michelle Chouinard

She is our Vice-President, Chief Financial Officer and co-owner. Michelle is responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, account reconciliation and analysis reports, profit and loss, and all other financial related matters. She also provides human resources support to all employees in regards to office practices and procedures and is our company notary.

Tam Tran, P.E.

He is our Principal Electrical Engineer and co-owner. Tam started at PowerStudies, Inc. as an engineering student. After graduating from the University of Washington with his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, he continued working for the firm. Some of Tam's core responsibilities include performing power system studies, gathering field data, investigating power quality problems, installing monitoring equipment and determining settings for sophisticated relays.

Stephanie James

She is one of our Partners and our Quotations Specialist. Stephanie's responsibilities include creating proposals, reviewing specifications, statements of work and drawings to ensure accuracy of proposals based on owner and design requirements. Generating sales leads, sending out quotations for power system studies and making annual outside sales visits to existing clients. She also maintains all company SWAG and marketing materials.

Callie Lorentson

She is one of our Partners and our Sales and Marketing Manager. Callie is responsible for creating proposals, reviewing specifications, statements of work and drawings to ensure accuracy of proposals based on owner and design requirements. She also generates sales leads and sends out quotations for power system studies. Callie also writes blogs and maintains all company social media platforms.

Janara Lane

Janara is our Quotations Specialist, and a valuable member of our sales team. She creates proposals, reviews specs and drawings to ensure accuracy of quotes, and develops and maintains business relationships with our customers.

Ny Nuon

Ny is our Quotations Specialist, and she is responsible for answering and organizing quote requests from our customers, creating quotes and proposals, reviewing specs and drawings to ensure accuracy of quotes, and developing and maintaining our customer relationships.

Aiden Houlihan

Aiden is our newest Quotations Specialist, and is responsible for answering and organizing quote requests from our customers, creating quotes and proposals, reviewing specs and drawings to ensure accuracy of quotes, and developing and maintaining our customer relationships.

Ken Yamabe

Ken is an Engineer and our Senior Database Programmer. His primary responsibility is maintaining our customized engineering program, PSDB. This tool is utilized in the field and office for collecting data for projects that aids the engineering staff in performing the studies. He also works with and provides project support to the engineering team.

Kevin Taulbee, CSP OHST

Kevin is one of our Electrical Engineers. He graduated from the University of North Dakota with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in Power Systems Analysis. He also carries credentials as a certified safety professional (CSP), background as a certified occupational health and safety technologist (OHST), and a level one certified auditor for process safety management.

Neil Garcia

Neil is one of our Electrical Engineers. He graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa with his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Neil provides engineering support in conducting arc flash, short circuit, and protective device coordination studies.

Wooldoph Pierre-Louis

Wooldoph Pierre-Louis is an Electrical Engineer and recent graduate from Eastern Washington University, where he obtained his Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering. With a passion for utilizing his technical knowledge to develop innovative solutions, Wooldoph joins our team as a valuable asset. He will provide engineering support in conducting arc flash, short circuit, and protective device coordination studies, collaborating closely with our team of engineers on various projects. Additionally, his excellent communication skills enable him to effectively interface with customers, gathering the necessary data for these studies. We are excited to have Wooldoph on board, contributing to our commitment to excellence in electrical engineering services.

Steven Watson

Steven is one of the newest additions to the engineering team! He graduated from the University of Washington, Tacoma with his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. He will provide engineering support in conducting arc flash, short circuit, and protective device coordination studies. We are happy to have Steven on the team!

Audra Justice

Audra is an Engineering Technician. She works with the engineers on various projects and provides engineering support for the protection engineers. She has extensive experience in performing studies for sophisticated data centers. Audra also interfaces with customers to gather data needed for the studies.

Samuel Mogel

Samuel is an Engineering Technician. He works with the engineers on various projects and provides engineering support for the protection engineers. Samuel supports the staff by interfacing with customers and gathering data that is needed for the studies.

Kirsie Glueck

Kirsie is one of our Engineering Technicians. She provides engineering support in performing arc flash, short circuit and protective device coordination power system studies, and she works with the engineers on various projects. She also interfaces with customers to gather data needed for the studies.

Teresa Ortega

Teresa is an Engineering Technician. She provides engineering support in performing arc flash, short circuit and protective device coordination power system studies, and she works with the engineers on various projects. She also interfaces with customers to gather data needed for the studies. She is also a writer for our blog, and she helps maintain our social media channels.

Shannon Landi

Shannon is our Office Administrator. She has over 20 years of professional administrative experience. She supports the staff by setting up new projects, creating formal contracts, obtaining technical data needed to perform power studies, closing out projects, calculating job profits and assisting the quoting department by responding to incoming daily requests.
