Pier 91 - Cruise Ship Terminal
The Terminal is located at the north end of Seattle's waterfront, just 10 minutes from the city's retail core and famous Space Needle. Pier 91 is home to Carnival, Celebrity Cruises, Holland America
Line, Princess Cruises and Royal Caribbean International.
The design consists of 600A primary fused switches feeding two 4000A main switchboards. Switchboard #1 feeds a 3000A switchboard and switchboard #2 feeds multiple additional loads. There is also a 175kW emergency generator. Elevator selective coordination was provided. The majority of the circuit breakers for this project are SquareD solid state with LSIG functions and thermal magnetic breakers.
