Pier 57 - Seattle Great Wheel
Located on Pier 57 in downtown Seattle, the Seattle Great Wheel is the largest observation wheel on the west coast. The wheel stands 175 feet tall, weighing 280,300 pounds with 42 fully-enclosed gondolas. The wheel extends nearly 40 feet beyond the end of the pier, over Elliott Bay.
The electrical design consists of a 600A service disconnect switch feeding a 600A panel. The majority of the circuit breakers used in this project are Cutler Hammer thermal magnetic type.
