Montezuma Elementary School
Located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Montezuma Elementary School is one of 97 elementary schools in the area. Established in 1953, it is the home of learning for over 500 students from grades preschool through 5th.
We performed short circuit and protective device coordination studies for this addition. The spares in the existing 1200A 208V switchboard were utilized which feed four new branch panels. The short circuit study verified the manufacture interrupting ratings were acceptable for the new equipment. The coordination study looked at setting the existing spare breakers with the new branch panels.
