Mayfield High School Addition and Renovation

One of four traditional High Schools in Las Cruces, New Mexico, Mayfield High was opened in 1965 when Las Cruces High School was overflowing with students. The two schools have duked it out on the football field ever since, maintaining a rivalry so intense, that it spawned a documentary, “Cruces Divided”.

This was a renovation project with new equipment loads being added to the existing. It required us to include portions of the existing equipment to perform the studies accurately. The school is supplied by a 2000A main service to which several new step down transformers and branch panels were added.
