Colstrip Power Plant

This power plant operates four coal-fired generating units. It began operation in 1975, with all units installed and running by 1986. This plant is known for meeting EPA standards for nitrogen oxides emission. This was a class that Bob taught as an e-Hazard instructor with Border Electric as the sponsor of the class. The class was taught at PPL - Montana's Colstrip Power Plant.

Bob Fuhr is that rare individual who actually knows what he’s talking about and can deliver the information to a group in a professional / interesting way. In fact, we enjoyed the class so much, we’d like to have him come back after the 1st of the year and give the high (medium) voltage 70E presentation.
