| "We wish to compliment you on the excellent report rendered for the subject plant. The existing and additional new facilities were clearly presented. The breadth of data developed was extensive. And finally, the over-all organization and presentation of data was both practical and attractive. Many thanks."

Tesoro Refinery
|
| The Tesoro company owns and operates a 72,000 barrels-per-day refinery in Kenai, Alaska. Tesoro is a primary supplier of jet fuel in Alaska to the major trans-polar and trans-Pacific aircraft traffic route going through Anchorage. It also supplies marine fuels to the state's extensive fishing and shipping businesses.
The refinery has an extensive and complex distribution system consisting of 25, 4.16, and 2.4 kV distribution systems. The facility also has on site co-generation and many large medium voltage motors. The field data collected was entered and stored in an ACCESS data base. This database also contains the new settings for the relays and circuit breakers.
