Microsoft - Redmond West
|
| The Redmond West Campus, located in Redmond, Washington, is the main Microsoft campus. It consists of seven buildings (five 4-story office buildings, a cafeteria and a central plant facility).
Primary power to this Microsoft facility is provided via a 12.47 kV loop system. This primary system then feeds seven separate unit substations, one per building. Each of the five office buildings has its own generator and UPS (uninterruptible power supply) units. The central plant facility contains a 4000 Amp switchboard which feeds three chillers and two MCCs (motor control centers).
