| "We wish to compliment you on the excellent report rendered for the subject plant. The existing and additional new facilities were clearly presented. The breadth of data developed was extensive. And finally, the over-all organization and presentation of data was both practical and attractive. Many thanks."

Kingdome
|
| Since the Kingdome opened in 1976, this multi-purpose-domed stadium has hosted a variety of Pacific Northwest events, including concerts, meetings, trade shows, consumer shows, tennis, volleyball, rodeos, and motor sports. At one point, the Kingdome was home to four professional sports: Seattle Mariners baseball, Seattle Seahawks football, Seattle SuperSonics basketball, and Seattle Sounders soccer. The Kingdome boasts the largest concrete roof in the world, measuring 7.85 acreswide enough for the Space Needle to lay down inside it.
The 26kV primary distribution system feeds five 3000 Amp switchboards. A 500 kW generator provides emergency power via three transfer switches.
