| "We wish to compliment you on the excellent report rendered for the subject plant. The existing and additional new facilities were clearly presented. The breadth of data developed was extensive. And finally, the over-all organization and presentation of data was both practical and attractive. Many thanks."

Eastern Washington University, Kennedy Library Addition/Remodel
|
| This is a $12 million multi-phase project that will add 73,500 square feet on new stack spaces, offices, and archival storage.
The existing 86,800 square foot library was remodeled to improve the building and bring it up to today's standards. The electrical system consisted of a low voltage distribution system, new switchboards, panelboards, generators, and motor control centers. There is a low voltage distribution and emergency distribution systems.
Role
PowerStudies.com, the electrical sub commissioning consultant, provided design phase commissioning services to review the design and create commissioning specifications for the bid documents. The commissioning specifications were written for the normal/emergency distribution systems and lighting and lighting controls. Construction phase commissioning services included witnessing a portion of the tests. The engineer then trained the university staff to observe and report the results of the remaining tests.
