| "We wish to compliment you on the excellent report rendered for the subject plant. The existing and additional new facilities were clearly presented. The breadth of data developed was extensive. And finally, the over-all organization and presentation of data was both practical and attractive. Many thanks."

Bangor Submarine Base
|
| The Naval Submarine Base at Bangor, Washington serves the Navy as a home port for the Trident Submarine Launched Ballistic Missile System. The Trident submarine is quieter, faster, larger and more powerful than any other submarine in the fleet. The Bangor Subase employs approximately 11,000 personnel.
This base has an extensive and complex high voltage distribution system with six main substations. These six substations reduce the voltage down to 13,800 volts for distribution througout the base. Each building has one or more low voltage substation containing molded case, insulated case, and power circuit breakers.
