This new school in the Lake Washington School District will occupy 60,000 square feet. Construction is scheduled to be completed in the summer of 2000.
The electrical system consisted of a low voltage distribution system, switchboards, and panelboards. Power Systems Engineering was also responsible for creating commissioning documents for the communication, data, fire alarm, security, public address, and life safety systems.
Role
Power Systems Engineering, the electrical sub commissioning consultant, provided design phase commissioning services to review the design and create commissioning specifications for the bid documents. The Power Systems Engineering team also reviewed the 95% CD design and specifications.
Construction phase commissioning services will include creating test procedures and data forms, reviewing contractor submittals, witnessing tests, and reporting on the commissioning progress.
