The University of Washington School of Oceanography began the construction of a new Oceanography Building on the main campus in min-1997. Completion is scheduled for late 1999.
Power is supplied to the facility from the campus 13.8 KV primary feeder system. This then feeds a low voltage distribution system consisting of several substations. The building also contains an emergency power switchboard and distribution system.
