The College of Ocean and Fishery Sciences – involved in teaching and research – is one of the largest institutions of its kind in the nation. The University of Washington School of Fisheries is constructing a new Fisheries Building on their main campus.
Power is supplied to the facility from the campus 13.8 KV primary feeder system. This then feeds a low voltage distribution system consisting of several substations. The building also contains an emergency power switchboard and distribution system.
