| The Seahawks Exhibition Hall and Parking |
The Seahawks Exhibition Hall and parking structure, opened in November 1999 and marks the first phase of construction in an on-going project. The Exhibition Hall will be the new home for many of the events previously held in the Kingdome. (Following completion of the Exhibition Hall and parking structure will be the construction of a new open-air stadium where the Seattle Seahawks football team and the Seattle Sounders soccer team will play. This new outdoor stadium will be open in August 2002.)
The electrical distribution system consists of two 4000 Amp main switchboards. The facility has five elevators. A 500 kW generator provides emergency power.
