Safeco Field
Safeco Field is the new home for the Seattle Mariners baseball team. With a retractable roof and real grass field, this sports facility is quite impressive. The 3 panel roof weighs 22 million pounds and takes 7 minutes to open/close. Safeco field has 9 elevators and 11 escalators.

The electrical design of Safeco field consists of five-4000 Amp and one-1200 Amp switchboard feeding the main facility and one-2500 Amp switchboard feeding the Central Plant and Parking Garage. Emergency power is provided by an 800 KW generator feeding a 1600 Amp emergency switchboard. The majority of the circuit breakers used in this facility were Siemens solid state breakers with LSIG trip functions and Siemens thermal magnetic breakers.
