Boeing Company - Everett Facility
The Boeing facility in Everett, Washington is the main production facility for Boeing commercial airplanes in the Pacific Northwest. Here, the world's largest commercial aircraft (747, 767 and 777) are manufactured in the world's largest building. The building has grown over the years to enclose 472 million cubic feet of space. Its footprint covers 98.3 acres.
The plant power distribution system is a 15 kV system with over ten medium voltage substations. The facility has over 225 low voltage substations. Power Systems Engineering performed short circuit and protective device coordination studies. We also provided an ACCESS database that contains all of the substation data and breaker settings. We have also performed harmonic / power quality and motor starting studies at this facility.
